Construction
- Stainless Steel Type 316 fitting, has a five piece construction consisting of a gland nut, sealing ring, high tensile grounding cone, barrier container and body
- A two-part compound epoxy seal is supplied to create the barrier
- Excellent corrosion resistance, strength and durability
Description
- Explosion Proof fittings for any SEALTITE® conduit (except CNP)
- IECEx-ATEX approved barrier fittings to provide seal around loose wires inside a SEALTITE® conduit
- A barrier around loose wires is created with a bi-compound epoxy seal supplied with each fitting
- IP 67 on the conduit and IP 66 between fitting and switchbox
- Excellent corrosion resistance with AISI-316 Stainless Steel
NOTE: For IECEx-ATEX applications, the fitting must be installed in pre-cut threads, without a locknut.
